002/ Fuzei Cabinet

A piece I designed and made following my time in Japan while I was in Sydney, working as 'artist in residence' at The Bower Reuse center.

This cabinet now resides in Bungendore Gallery of Furniture and Fine art near Canberra. Please read my article detailing the making process and philosophy and the purpose of this cabinet; I am really proud to say this article is my first published in print.

This piece was made to advocate heritage craft and thoughtful work, to have the

greatest impact I documented and published a short film of the whole process - I am very proud of this work, if you have a moment; grab a cuppa and give it a watch.
